I am Peter A. Ryan. My wife and I have two children in the home. The oldest is out of the house and attends LSU. We have a girl in 4th grade, and then a boy who turned 5 in June and is now in kindergarten. I attended Tulane Law School, graduating with a certificate in Maritime Law with my J.D.
I attended university on the north shore of O’ahu, in Hawai’i, after having spent two years living in Switzerland and a little in France. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, I briefly taught school under a short-term license before deciding to attend graduate school at Nottingham University in the United Kingdom, where I graduated with a Masters degree in International Relations. After grad school, I worked for First American Title in California before becoming bored out of my mind and driven insane enough to accept an invitation to attend law school in New Orleans. After law school I worked for a firm in New Orleans for a while before once again becoming sane, and have been working out of my own firm since January 2011.
My wife grew up locally, and my in-laws currently reside in Central. My wife does some of the work for the office, and we frequently have some or all of the kids around as we work. This means you are welcome to bring your kids if needed. We try and make this a family friendly place. I try to keep everything relaxed, and you’ll see me in flip-flops most days. Most people come in nervous about seeing an attorney, but walk out glad they visited with me. Come on in and see what I can do for you!
